This is an idea I had a while back, but I think it is worth mentioning.  How to write a hit song:

Write a song about the weekend.

...if it is any good, you'll hear it every Friday evening through Saturday.  Good Luck.

Inspiration for New Inventions

I think new inventions usually take some inspiration from things that already exist.  Or are just the combination of two or more great things.  I think the best new things start with a life of their own, or are so unique that you wonder who came up with such a great idea.  What was the inspiration?  Why didn't I think of that?  I don't yet have an idea for a new invention, but I do have the inspiration: make something as good as the following things:

1. leftovers
2. pockets

...and not Hot Pockets.

In the Future, We'll Only Have Four Toes

Maybe, in the future, we'll only have four toes.  Pinky toes are practically useless, so I would think evolution would someday rid us of them.  Just an idea, which is my intent in starting this blog.
